After breakfast, feel free to explore the Museum to see what’s new. Delve into the world of Daring Dames as you explore our current special exhibit featuring the life and times of pioneer women.
Also on hand is the Strathcona County Heritage Advisory Committee to showcase what they have been working on in regards to their Heritage Inventory of the County. You will also have the opportunity to discover Canada Heritage Day and learn what the rest of Canada does as we celebrate Family Day.
“This is the perfect day for families to disconnect from technology and do something together. Since we’re not open on weekends, we’re hoping to attract our regular visitors as well as those who don’t have a chance to visit us during the work week,” says Starr Hanson, Manager/Curator. Although the breakfast ends at 11 a.m., the Museum will be open until 4 p.m. with admission by donation.
