Enjoy new Aboriginal art, The Past Shows Us The Way, created for Strathcona County Museum & Archives by renowed local artist Aaron Paquette.
Aaron Paquette is one of Canada’s leading First Nations artists. He is the founder of Cree8 Success, a system of promoting creativity for youth. From a troubled youth struggling with poverty and depression, Aaron has found his path in developing happiness and peace through his art. He also shares his message with others through writing, speaking, and training.
Aaron’s unique understanding of the personal challenges Aboriginal youth face today motivates him to help others achieve success and power in their own creativity. He has been featured on Bravo, CTV, Cith TV, CBC, Aboriginal Voices Radio, and at schools and other organizations.
The Museum is proud to showcase Aaron’s stunning and symbolic first mural in our permanent exhibit, The Past Shows Us The Way.
