Guided Tours
Pre-booked tours are guided by costumed interpreters who share the history of our exhibits and artifacts. Tours can be customized for groups including schools, seniors, clubs, and organizations. We provide an excellent learning/teaching opportunity for instructors and students alike, or for anyone interested in local history and heritage.

We are a ‘hands-on’ Museum, complimented by a Research Library and Archives housed in one building. Our gallery is based on the theme of a rural community and encompasses the history from the First People to the Pioneers. Visitors take a self-guided tour and are encouraged to move from room to room viewing each exhibit in our Village Square, learning about settlers and pioneers in the early 1900s. We employ an interactive method of presentation enabling us to directly involve our visitors through touch, smell and the operation of items displayed.
