Come celebrate as Strathcona County Museum & Archives unveils its new aboriginal exhibit on Sunday, September 22, 2013. The centerpieces of the exhibit are a stunning original wall mural and stained glass medicine wheel created by Edmonton Métis artist, Aaron Paquette.
From 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., experience bannock and tea with stories and crafts in an authentic tipi. Aboriginal drummers, dancers and musicians will perform at 4:00 p.m. to officially open the exhibit. Free admission for this special event.
